Forklift Operator - Catch Crew

Duties & Responsibilities

• To transfer cages of birds from blocks to trucks.
• Operate a Forklift.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Use required PPE and follow all safety guidelines of the Company.
• Load/Unload trucks.
• To ensure animal welfare guidelines are followed.

Skills & knowledge needed for the effective performance of essential job functions:

• Able to learn and operate a forklift properly and safely.
• Good hand and eye coordination.
• Able to work at a fast steady pace.

• Stand and walk duration of shift – all scheduled hours.
• Workable use of both hands and able to grasp.
• Good eye sight (with or without corrective lens).
• Physical strength needed to pull/push manual forklift if needed.
• Able to climb stairs.
• Able to reach and bend.

• Warm to cold wet environment.
