Location: Masterson
Overview
Maintenance Technician I role at Scout Energy Partners.
Responsibilities- Monitor and manage production in assigned area to maximize production and control lease operating expenses
- Apply basic knowledge of Production Operations and all associated equipment
- Maintain all company provided tools and equipment (cell phone, vehicle, computer, etc.)
- Submit work requests as per the workflow process (if applicable)
- Perform tasks that may be assigned by Foreman or Lead in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Understand alarm management to minimize DT; maintain awareness of DT effects on volumes
- Monitor lease costs in daily activities to achieve 0% tool and equipment loss
- Perform lease maintenance as needed to minimize contract labor
- Perform preventive maintenance on rotating equipment (PM s, calibrations, etc.)
- Diagnose / troubleshoot and repair issues associated with any rotating equipment to minimize failures
- Recognize and report issues associated with rotating equipment
- Utilize "buddy system" as needed to reduce OT effect
- Conduct regulatory (State, Federal, and Local) testing and reporting as directed by the Foreman
- Perform other various tasks as assigned by the Foreman
- Ability to work with a diverse team to achieve production and cost targets
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure production environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, SCADA, eVIN, etc., or the ability to learn
- Maintain good housekeeping in all areas of responsibility
- Has integrity, good communication skills, and a positive attitude
- Ability to work safely and adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures
- 0-5 years of general mechanical/ industry experience
- Possess a valid driver’s license, CDL a plus (and may be required in some locations)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug and background check
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited, state-certified program
- Certifications from trade schools and/or professional organizations are preferred
- Must be capable and willing to work overtime as required and participate in an on-call rotation
- Knowledgeable in operating and maintaining equipment within oil and gas facilities
- Capable of lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50lbs, and occasionally up to 100lbs
- Capable of rigorous outdoor activities with physical ability to work extended hours, climbing, bending, kneeling, squatting, working with arms extended above the head, twisting upper body, standing for long periods, working in confined spaces, exposure to extreme weather conditions, driving a vehicle, operation of forklifts and light industrial equipment
