Top Metal Solutions LLC is looking for experienced MIG and Flux-Cored Welders to join our growing fabrication team in Adkins, TX. This is a hands‑on position for skilled welders who take pride in their craft, work safely, and thrive in a fast‑paced production environment. Key Responsibilities- Perform high‑quality MIG and Flux‑Cored welding in flat and vertical positions.
- Work with materials ranging from 11 gauge up to 1" thick.
- Read and interpret welding symbols and basic blueprints.
- Identify and correct common weld defects such as porosity or lack of fusion.
- Set up, adjust, and operate welding machines (Millermatic 211, 252, 255).
- Follow OSHA‑based safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Authorization to work in the United States (valid work permit or status required).
- Proven experience in metal fabrication or welding shop environments.
- Ability to read and understand basic fabrication drawings.
- Proficiency with MIG and Flux‑Cored welding machines and related equipment.
- Valid SSN or ITIN with valid work authorization, government‑issued , and a U.S. bank account.
- Ability to work effectively in a primarily Spanish‑speaking environment.
- Willingness to obtain AWS D1.1 and/or D1.3 certifications in the future (company‑supported at later stages).
- Lift up to 70 lbs without assistance.
- Stand and weld for extended periods.
- Work in environments with heat, dust, or noise.
- Consistent use of PPE as required by OSHA standards.
- Competitive Pay: $20.00 per hour (W‑2 employment).
