This entry-level role involves maintaining and operating equipment for poultry feed manufacturing. The individual will operate the batching system, handle inventory procedures, and manage ingredient receiving.

• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Dismantle machines, move machinery and equipment.
• Get trained as a mill operator.
• Assemble and install equipment such as shafts, conveyors, and pelleting machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment.
• Clean, lubricate, and repair shafts, bearings, and machinery parts.
• Perform welding, adjustments, and component replacements on milling equipment.
• Complete repairs promptly.
• Conduct inspections as required.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One to two years of related experience or training required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions.
• Apply common sense to carry out instructions.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Must meet physical demands such as standing, handling, talking, occasional walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
