Role: Production Technician

We are seeking an experienced Production Operator to manage and maintain upstream oil and gas production equipment and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oil field operations with experience as an Operator, Pumper, or Gauger. This role involves daily monitoring of production data, troubleshooting equipment issues, implementing solutions to maintain target production, and ensuring safe operations. The position requires technical knowledge of various production equipment, analytical skills to interpret data, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a field environment.

• Operate and maintain upstream oil and gas production equipment on a daily basis
• Review and analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and optimization opportunities
• Identify production deferments and troubleshoot technical issues affecting performance
• Implement solutions to bring wells back to target production levels
• Monitor and maintain key performance metrics for assigned production assets
• Operate and maintain equipment including:
• Heater treaters and separation equipment
• Wellheads and associated components
• Blow cases and pressure management systems
• Gas and air compressors
• Gas lift systems and artificial lift equipment
• Chemical injection systems
• Flare systems and emissions equipment
• Storage tanks and fluid handling systems
• Safety and shutdown systems
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on production equipment
• Document operations activities and maintain accurate production records
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding operational status and issues

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in upstream oil and gas operations as an Operator, Pumper, or Gauger
• Strong understanding of oil and gas production processes, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques
• Experience operating and maintaining production equipment including separators, compressors, wellheads, and gas lift systems
• Working knowledge of chemical handling and application in production operations

• Floating Operator (all-around knowledge)
• 2+ years experience: AL, wellhead compression, gas lift
• Knowledge of surface equipment
• Energy isolation, double block and bleed

Location: Yorktown, TX

Compensation: With Rig Up truck $36/hr with personal truck $47/hr

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:30-5:00 (30 minute lunch), overtime opportunities
