Position: Logistics Liaison Officer with Security Clearance
Location: Fort Hood

Amentum is currently seeking qualified candidates to serve as Logistics Liaison Officers (LNOs) to support the Program Manager for the XM30 Combat Vehicle within the Program Executive Office (PEO) Ground Combat Systems (GCS). This position is currently on-site at Fort Hood, TX. We are seeking highly qualified and proactive individuals who will serve as the critical link between the program office, soldiers, and civilian contractors involved in XM30's "Transformation in Contact" (TiC) initiative.

This role is essential for the successful fielding, testing, and iterative development of two competing prototype vehicles. The ideal candidates will be recently retired senior logisticians, Warrant Officers, officers or senior SNCOs with a deep understanding of Army logistics, maintenance, and supply systems, coupled with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships in a dynamic environment. Other duties may be assigned to support client and contract deliverables.

This position is not yet funded, position contingent upon funding award.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Stakeholder Integration:
Serve as the PM XM30 representative coordinating a myriad of Logistics and Test activities for TiC, Army test units, base operations (Fort Hood DPW), CASCOM, 2

TCOM and two defense contractor teams, ensuring seamless communication and a shared understanding of program goals and operational realities.

- Logistics & Maintenance Support:
Provide expert guidance to the units on the sustainment of the prototype vehicles. This includes troubleshooting, coordinating for parts and repairs, and ensuring maximum vehicle operational readiness for training and evaluation.

- Feedback Collection & Reporting:
Systematically gather, analyze, and report soldier feedback on the XM30 prototypes. This feedback will cover all aspects of the vehicle's logistics footprint, including maintainability, usability, and supportability, and will be crucial for the iterative upgrade process.

- Training & Doctrine Integration:
Assist in the development and refinement of training materials and operational tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for the new XM30 platform.

- Programmatic Support:
Track and report on key logistics metrics, support program reviews, and provide insights to the PMO that will inform the final down-select decision.

- Iterative Development Feedback:
Actively participate in the vendors' iterative design process by providing structured, real-time feedback from the unit on each vehicle upgrade. Translate technical engineering changes into understandable impacts for the soldiers and vice versa.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in U.S. Army logistics and maintenance.

- Proven ability to work independently and solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment.

- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with personnel at all levels, from junior soldiers to senior leaders and corporate executives.

- A thorough understanding of Army logistical and maintenance support structures.

- Must have a high level of organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and ability to travel as required.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.

- Clearance:
Must be eligible for a Secret security clearance. Amentum will sponsor SECRET security clearance, a positive adjudication/determination may be required for continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Recently retired Chief Warrant Officer (CW3 or CW4) from the U.S. Army Logistics or Ordnance branch.

- Direct experience with developmental or operational testing of new military equipment.

- Familiarity with the Army's acquisition and modernization processes.

- Previous Experience in a liaison or advisory role.

- Have knowledge or experience in the planning, coordination, and execution of complex fielding and delivery of military or other similar vehicle programs. Compensation Details:
