Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Electrical Engineering

Western Son Distillery is a Texas-born craft spirits company based in Pilot Point. Founded in 2011, we produce award-winning vodka distilled ten times from 100% American corn, along with a bold lineup of real-fruit flavors. Located in Pilot Point, Texas, Western Son Distillery operates out of a historic, repurposed factory just north of the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on bottling lines, production equipment, facility systems, and grounds.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to minimize downtime and maintain optimal equipment performance.
- Support safety initiatives by following maintenance safety standards, reporting hazards, and participating in inspections and investigations.
- Maintain and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance activities and special projects.
- Communicate equipment status, issues, and repair progress with supervisors and cross-functional teams.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
Requirements (Must-Have)
- Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends.
- High school diploma or GED required;
Associate’s Degree or graduation from Trade School is preferred - Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced operational setting.
- Hands-on electrical experience, including PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work at heights up to 20 feet and safely operate industrial equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
- Apprenticeship completion, technical school training, or associate degree.
- Welding or fabrication experience is a huge plus
- Continuous growth and progression within prior maintenance roles.
- Allen-Bradley PLC or automation-related certifications.
