Position: Production Operator (Line 4)
Location: Hutchins

Overview

At Niagara Bottling, we are looking for team members to join our mission to provide customers the highest quality and most affordable bottled water.

Production Operator (Line
4) manages day-to-day operations on the production line, ensuring smooth equipment function and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain production line equipment (palletizers, carton makers, injection, etc.) including starting, stopping, and minor adjustments.
  • Accurately complete equipment logs and reports (Machine Report, Quality Report, Downtime Report).
  • Recognize unsafe conditions, follow plant safety rules, and use required PPE.
  • Perform general housekeeping and raw material upkeep (bottles, caps, labels, cartons, pallets).
  • Fill hourly inspection sheets and report quality defects immediately.
  • Work multiple production areas with minimal supervision and perform relief duties.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and collaborate with maintenance.
  • Use computer systems such as Oracle/MES or current order management system.
  • Communicate issues clearly and concisely.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work 12‑hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing field or similar environment.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a production operator position.
  • Experience operating multiple manufacturing machines.
  • Ability to manage people/projects (minimum 0 or 2 years depending on level).

Education
  • Minimum:
    High School Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred:
    Associate’s Degree.
