Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring processes, and ensuring that products meet quality standards. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established protocols.
- Set up and adjust machinery as needed to meet production specifications.
- Inspect products for quality assurance and maintain high standards of production.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and quality issues.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and stay updated on new production processes and equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues as they arise.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on processes and suggesting enhancements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Familiarity with operating machinery and understanding production workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Ability to operate and use efficiently computerized production systems (i.e. Plant Work Flow, MRP and Inventory Management systems) (preferred)

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
