Job Summary

Additional Information:
  • 2nd Shift will receive a 7% Shift Premium
  • Shift Information:
    Group 1:
    Monday-Thursday, 4:30pm-3:00am, Group 2:
    Tuesday-Friday, 4:30pm-3:00am. Overtime as required.
  • Relocation assistance is NOT available for this position.
What you will do:
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assembly equipment in production facilities building, in accordance with work orders and technical documentation as assigned in a timely manner
  • Respond to service requests and work orders with limited supervision and direction without interrupting production facilities operations
  • Perform general building maintenance as directed, such as lamp replacement, simple construction, overhead doors, and plumbing, etc.
  • Perform basic electrical preventive maintenance, to motors, lights, and electrical panels
  • Operate and maintain production equipment including but not limited to fork trucks, conveyors, robotic equipment, and related tools and equipment
  • Organize lubrication equipment and recommend changes to lubrication schedules.
  • Submit tools/requisitions for lubrication equipment to the appropriate supervisor
  • Organize and keep the maintenance shop areas clean
  • Request direction from more senior technicians for unclear or advanced tasks
  • Maintain a strong mechanical fundamental knowledge
  • Striving to acquire the skills and knowledge of a Level II Maintenance Technician
  • Submit and assist with the resolution of C.P.S. Continuous Improvement cards
What you will have:
  • Minimum of 2 years of related hands‑on maintenance experience, in a manufacturing, operations, or high-volume facility, or possess a relevant certification or degree in lieu of experience
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance tasks like lubrication, cleaning, and inspections
  • Familiar mechanical knowledge of basic machines (pulleys, levers, etc.), pneumatics, hydraulics, gears, reducers, bearings, lubrication theory, drive components (sheaves, sprockets, chain belts, take-ups), and equipment alignment.
  • Must be familiar with electronics such as photo sensors, PLCs, remote I/Os, servo drives, and variable frequency drives
What would make you a top candidate:
  • Familiar with AC/DC theory, relays, switches, solenoids, fuses, breakers, power generation and distribution (including 480V 3‑phase), electrical safety, lockout/tagout procedures, National Electric Code, digital multimeter operation, and motor theory and protection
  • Familiar with PM procedures, including performing PMs, logging completion, etc.
