Responsibilities:
- Assist welders with setup and cleanup of work areas
- Prepare materials for welding (cutting, grinding, cleaning)
- Operate basic hand and power tools
- Move and position materials using hoists or other equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform other tasks as needed to support the welding team
- Previous experience in a shop or construction environment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to follow safety protocols
- Reliable transportation and good attendance
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Inter/Intra state travel
- heavy equipment operator (forklift, telehandler, man lift) certifications not required but preferred
