Key Responsibilities
- Production & Scheduling
- Develop, implement, and maintain daily and weekly production schedules
- Lead the batch mixing process, ensuring output meets defined specifications
- Ensure color matches with our digital formula and sample database
- Operate and oversee mixing equipment and related machinery
- Color & Quality Control
- Use a color spectrometer to verify batch accuracy and ensure consistency
- Perform in-process inspections and final checks for color conformity
- Maintain and reference color database for every production run
- Enforce established quality assurance protocols throughout the floor
- Team Leadership & Safety
- Supervise, train, and support production personnel
- Foster a collaborative, accountable team environment
- Ensure safe operation of all production equipment and enforce safety protocols
- Operate and train team members on forklift equipment as needed
- Drive a forklift to transport materials as needed
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
- Ensure proper waste handling and general compliance with operational standards
- Equipment & Reporting
- Coordinate basic maintenance and repairs of production equipment
- Monitor inventory usage and assist in procurement coordination
- Communicate with leadership and other departments regarding production timelines and issues
- Maintain detailed production logs and use basic digital tools to report on outputs and metrics
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing (preferably in paint, coatings, or pigment-based production)
- Strong understanding of color-matching processes and use of color spectrometers
- Hands‑on experience with batch mixing or similar processes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must obtain forklift training and certification within the first three months (paid and provided by Rubio Monocoat)
- Proficient in operating mixers and general production machinery
- Detail‑oriented with strong observational skills for quality and consistency
- Comfortable working both independently and as a team leader
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in a lab or R&D setting involving pigments or color work is a plus
- Familiarity with digital production tools or control software is a bonus
Job Type: Full‑time
Projected Total Compensation: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

- Must live within 40 minutes of the warehouse to maintain reliable attendance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
