Position Introduction/Key Duties

Cimarron is seeking an Orbital Tube Welder to support our partnership with Firefly Aerospace at their rocket production facility in the Briggs, TX area (Bertram mailing address). In this role, you will be part of a collaborative Cimarron–Firefly team responsible for the fabrication of complex fluid systems within the Tube Fabrication Shop. You will work closely with Firefly Fluid Systems Engineers to ensure all fabrication activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures and stringent aerospace quality standards.

Firefly develops small- to medium-lift launch vehicles, lunar landers, and orbital vehicles for government and commercial missions from low Earth orbit to the Moon and beyond. This team leverages carbon composite structures, patented propulsion technologies, and common components across vehicles to move fast, improve reliability, and deliver payloads at a lower cost.
