Maintenance Technician

Overview

Trillium Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician for direct-hire in Arlington. Schedule is 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Must be available for overtime and occasional Saturdays based on production demands. Pay range is $29 - $35/hour, depending on experience. A well-established manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their 1st shift team. This role is key to ensuring the safe, continuous operation of production and material handling equipment.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, safety-focused, and proactive in preventing equipment downtime. You’ll also assist with planning for new equipment, capital projects, and vendor coordination.

• Perform day-to-day repairs and maintenance on facility and production equipment
• Support a preventive maintenance program; maintain accurate records and logs
• Respond quickly to machine issues to minimize downtime
• Coordinate with outside vendors for parts and specialized repairs
• Ensure all equipment remains compliant with safety and operational standards
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Adhere to company policies, including safety and quality procedures
• Participate in other duties or changes in scope as needed

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience; metals or heavy manufacturing preferred
• Knowledge of electrical systems, welding, hydraulic repairs
• Familiarity with PLCs and control systems
• Experience with cranes, machine repair, and preventive maintenance systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints; order necessary parts and materials
• Must pass a physical exam (vision, hearing, mobility)
• Successful candidates will be enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program upon hire

• Experience with heavy industrial machinery or large-scale equipment is highly valued
• Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) is also a strong plus
