Summary:

Our final assembly team is responsible for quality-checking all parts and finalizing the assembly of materials and duties assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Builds projects accurately and within time and budget specifications.
• Uses saws, power tools, sanders, hand tools, wood glue, screws,
  dowels, screws, and other tools and fasteners to complete the project.
• Cuts, shapes, and prepares the surfaces of wood and constructs
  complete project.
• Attaches specified door pulls and hardware and hangs cabinet doors
  on frames.
• Finishes surface according to specifications by sanding,
  staining, and applying veneer, stain, or polish.
• Repairs or refinishes furniture or cabinets to meet quality standards.
• Great understanding of quality control principles.

Required skills/ Abilities:

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent listening skills.
• Ability to read and understand instructions in manuals and blueprints.
• Ability to appropriately measure and skillfully build.
• Excellent math and spatial skills
• Extremely accurate, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and lightweight machinery.
• Ability to fit cabinets around existing appliances.
• Forklift operating experience is preferred.

Education/

Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1-4 years of experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must have the manual dexterity to assemble products as directed.
• Ability to read product bills of materials to ensure proper assembly.
