Capitol Aggregates is looking for a skilled and safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operator to support our aggregates operations.

- Perform daily inspections and operate heavy equipment such as haul trucks, water trucks, skid steers, portable plant machinery.
- Support plant operations by moving materials, feeding crushers, and stockpiling aggregate.
- Assist with plant housekeeping activities to maintain clean and safe work areas.
- Help with basic maintenance and servicing of equipment as needed.
- Conduct area audits and follow MSHA and company safety guidelines at all times.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 1+ years of experience operating heavy equipment (mining, aggregates, or construction background preferred).
- Ability to operate safely and efficiently in rugged and outdoor environments.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive work ethic.
- Familiarity with safety inspections, basic mechanical troubleshooting, and MSHA standards preferred.
