Primary ResponsibilitiesFiscal Management
Assist with budget preparation and short- and long-term financial planning; administer the district budget to ensure cost-effective operations.
Prepare budget amendments and conduct daily cash flow analysis for investments and payments.
Oversee bank reconciliations, vendor and payroll clearing accounts, and support internal and external audits.
Evaluate accounting systems and internal controls; recommend operational improvements.
Collaborate with district leadership on forecasting enrollment, staffing, facilities, and capital needs; conduct needs assessments to improve business operations.
Implement and ensure compliance with federal and state laws, State Board of Education rules, and local board policies.
Maintain required financial reports and documentation and follow district safety and emergency procedures.
Maintain accurate asset inventories and replacement schedules; oversee surplus equipment disposal.
Manage bid preparation, analysis, and vendor recommendations.
Develop and update job descriptions; recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
Recommend personnel actions and provide training and performance improvement plans.
Directly supervise the Purchasing Coordinator, Payroll Coordinator, PEIMS Coordinator, and Child Nutrition Supervisor.
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or educational administration required.
Minimum of four years of experience in school business management or a public-sector organization.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, accounting, payroll, and financial systems.
Proficient in financial analysis, policy implementation, and reporting.
Excellent organizational, communication, and personnel management skills
