Brief Description
The purpose of this position is to manage the acceptance and removal of waste from Brazos River Authority (BRA) convenience stations. This is accomplished by accepting and sorting waste; figuring cubic yards of solid waste; scheduling removal; assisting customers; and handling credit/debit transactions, and receipts; assisting with repairs, maintenance, and new construction on BRA property; ordering supplies; purchasing materials; and coordinating with vendors.
Other responsibilities include providing customer service to the general public; maintaining the facilities and grounds as part of a team; and performing any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of two years of general work experience
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License and Good Driving Record
- High School Diploma - Awarded for the completion of High School.

STARTING SALARY RANGE: $23.10 to $29.45 hourly. This is a non-exempt position.

BRAZOS RIVER AUTHORITY, EOE: The BRA was created by the Texas Legislature in 1929 and exists to develop, manage, and protect the water resources of the Brazos River Basin. Today, BRA's staff develops and distributes water supplies, provides water and wastewater treatment, monitors water quality, and pursues water conservation through public education programs.
