Position Summary: The Maintenance Worker (Facility Maintenance Technician) is accountable for routine maintenance tasks, including landscaping, carpentry, painting, and basic equipment and facility repairs. Reporting directly to the Facilities Supervisor, the technician ensures facility upkeep under supervision.

Performance Objectives:

• Maintain grounds and facilities in accordance with company policies.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to support resort functionality and appearance.
• Perform minor electrical work such as changing light bulbs while following safety standards.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner to keep resort ready for use.
• Address plumbing issues, clear clogs, and repair leaks.
• Engage in landscaping duties: mowing, weed removal, and brush clearing.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Work independently, demonstrating self‑reliance and efficiency.
• Comply with all health, safety, and OSHA standards.
• Fulfill any additional duties assigned to support maintenance needs.

Compensation: Hourly – $15.00

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in facility maintenance or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with common maintenance tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and OSHA standards preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays if necessary.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend, and kneel frequently; use arms and hands often.
• Manual dexterity for using facility equipment.
• Clear vision and hearing for effective communication.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
• Potential exposure to cold temperatures, heat, humidity, rain, and seasonal weather.
