Position Overview

Millennium Health & Fitness (MHF) is seeking two Equipment Maintenance Managers to support the Special Warfare Training Wing (SWTW) at Lackland Air Force Base and the Chapman Training Annex. These positions support the sustainment, safety, and reliability of training, fitness, and recovery equipment essential to preparing future Special Warfare Airmen who operate in complex and high-risk environments. The Equipment Maintenance Manager ensures operational readiness through proactive maintenance, efficient scheduling, and effective coordination with internal and external partners.

This is a mission‑critical role supporting the readiness and training foundation of the Air Force’s elite Special Warfare Airmen. Candidates who are disciplined, proactive, and committed to excellence are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspection checklists for all assigned training, fitness, and recovery equipment
  • Establish maintenance and replacement schedules for all relevant equipment and support materials
  • Perform preventive maintenance including lubrication, tightening fasteners, and repairing non‑warranty items
  • Establish and maintain hydrotherapy equipment schedules including chemical management
  • Assist with facility maintenance and repairs in coordination with Civil Engineering guidelines
  • Coordinate certified vendor repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
  • Develop and conduct daily, weekly, and monthly facility checks to ensure readiness and safety
  • Provide timely maintenance reports and documentation to program leadership
  • Operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment with frequent changes
  • Communicate and collaborate professionally with both military and civilian personnel
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of experience performing similar maintenance or facility support functions
  • Proficiency with computers, email, and digital communication tools
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must proficiently speak and write English
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license

Drug‑Free Workplace

As a federal government contractor, MHF adheres to federally mandated drug‑free workplace standards. Pre‑employment and annual random drug screening are required, including testing for marijuana (including CBD and hemp derivatives), cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, 6‑monoacetylmorphine, and PCP. Personnel unable to meet these requirements are not eligible for employment.
