Service Technician

Do you have a passion for laser cutting machines and a knack for troubleshooting complex machinery?

A technological leader in industrial CNC Plate Processing Machines and Material Handling Solutions is searching for a talented Field Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role you will play a vital part in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support for their laser cutting machines.

• Install and commission new cutting machines, focusing on laser machines and other technologies such as plasma, oxyfuel, drilling, milling and automated material handling solutions.
• Provide training to customers on the safe and efficient operation of their machines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, ensuring prompt resolution of customer issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize machine performance.
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers regarding service activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and engineering, to provide exceptional customer service.
• The work environment may be individually focused or working with a team.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience servicing and troubleshooting industrial Laser Cutting Machines. Plasma, Oxyfuel and Drilling experience preferred.
• Minimum requirement:
  High school diploma or GED (technical or vocational school preferred).
• Preferred:
  Associate degree focused in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, or robotics.
• Proven understanding of laser cutting technology, principles, and applications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and repair complex machinery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
• Eager to travel 50% Occasional international travel may be required.
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
