About the Opportunity

This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your deep technical skills to support and enhance a large-scale, distributed environment. You will be at the forefront of operational excellence, ensuring that our systems are not only robust but also continuously improving. You will contribute to key projects that redefine how we monitor, automate, and administer our critical infrastructure, directly impacting our ability to deliver high-performance and reliable services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead enterprise-level administration and support initiatives, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of critical systems.
  • Design, develop, and implement robust automation scripts to streamline operational workflows and enhance system efficiency.
  • Build and maintain advanced application dashboards and alerting mechanisms for proactive monitoring and rapid issue detection.
  • Champion and implement best practices within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to drive continuous process improvements.
  • Execute hands‑on administration, monitoring, and deployment activities across a diverse technology stack.
  • Provide expert-level system administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for both Linux and Windows environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of large-scale distributed systems.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 6-8 years of experience in enterprise-level system administration and support.
  • 6-8 years of experience in developing automation scripts and building proactive monitoring and alerting solutions.
  • 6-8 years of experience practicing and improving Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Demonstrated hands‑on experience with enterprise systems administration, monitoring, and deployment.
  • Proficiency with Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022) hosted in virtualized environments.
  • Strong knowledge of IP networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and IP routing.
  • Familiarity with large‑scale distributed systems and high‑availability architectures.
  • Expertise in Linux and Windows system administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Development experience in one or more programming languages such as .Net, C#, Powershell, Yaml, Java, Python, or Bash.
  • Knowledge of one or more database technologies, including SQL, Oracle, Mongo

    DB, or Postgres.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Strong customer orientation, with a proactive approach to owning, communicating, and following through on projects and issues.
  • An extreme sense of ownership and a relentless drive to resolve problems in a distributed environment.
  • A gritty resolve to thoroughly investigate and address technical issues within a complex ecosystem.
  • A self‑starter with the ability and confidence to independently resolve issues and deliver results to the team.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Experience with in the financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
