Overview
Our Fortune 500 client in Westlake, TX is looking for a Desktop Support professional to join their onsite team. This is an entry-level position focused on providing real-time support for technology problems and fulfillment services (move, add, or change requests) for internal customers. The role requires an enthusiastic candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong customer service skills.

Westlake, TX (onsite, with work from Southlake as needed)
Duration: 18 Month Contract
Pay Range: $19.50/hr on W2
Hours:
8:00am - 4:30pm or 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Work with a team of Desktop Support technicians in one of the largest service centers at Schwab with over 6,000 users.
- System administration of Windows 10, Windows 11 and Mac OS X desktops and laptops.
- Provide hands-on installation, troubleshooting and technology support for desktops, laptops, monitors and personal printers.
- Provide phone support and remote assistance as needed.
- Deploy and reclaim computer equipment including maintaining asset management database with current status.
- Document work in various tools (Remedy, Clarity).
- Provide excellent customer support to our client’s employees.
- Work at multiple sites.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology and/or 1-3 years’ recent experience supporting technology in an enterprise-wide internal Service Center environment.
- Working knowledge of PC technical support of Windows and Macintosh OS (Windows 10, Windows 11 and Mac OS X).
- Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal.
