Overview
Seeking a Level 2 IT Support Technician to support a large‑scale laptop deployment and ongoing end‑user support initiative. This is a hands‑on, onsite role ideal for a technician with strong troubleshooting experience, excellent customer service skills, and a “white glove” support mindset. The primary focus of this role will be imaging and deploying approximately 100 brand‑new laptops, reimaging existing laptops, and supporting a rolling inventory refresh.
All device provisioning will be completed using Microsoft Intune Autopilot (no image creation required). This is a fast‑moving engagement, and availability and flexibility will be critical to ensure a successful deployment.
- Deploy approximately 100 new laptops using Intune Autopilot
- Reimage existing laptops and redeploy to end users
- Support rolling inventory and PC replacement programs
- Provide second‑level (Tier
2) end‑user support for hardware and software issues - Respond to service desk tickets and outages via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, operating system, and application issues
- Install and configure hardware and software in accordance with corporate standards
- Support emergency equipment exchanges when required
- Provide hands‑on assistance with IT projects and initiatives
- Deliver white glove executive and VIP support
- Assist with local backup operations per company policies
- Maintain strict confidentiality of user data and sensitive information
- Perform additional IT‑related duties as assigned
- A+ Certification or 1–2 years of experience in an end‑user support environment
- 1–3 years of experience with Windows desktop operating system deployment
- Experience supporting hardware refresh or PC deployment programs
- Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing systems (Service Now preferred)

- Demonstrated stability and longevity in past roles

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Willis, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
