Scope of Work Responsibilities- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the AON environment on Microsoft Azure, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
- Provide expert guidance and best practices for Azure-based infrastructure, networking, and security configurations within the AON platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AON with other Azure services and applications, ensuring seamless interoperability.
- Offer technical mentorship and support to the AON team members, providing training and knowledge transfer sessions on Azure best practices and operational procedures.
- Stay abreast of the latest Azure updates, features, and enhancements, and assess their potential impact on the AON environment.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including proficiency in Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Security, Azure Storage, and Azure Governance.
- Strong background in infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure Automation, or Terraform for managing AON infrastructure.
- Expertise in implementing and managing Azure monitoring and logging solutions for AON, leveraging services such as Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Azure Security Center.
- Solid understanding of Azure identity and access management (IAM), including experience with Azure Active Directory, role-based access control (RBAC), and conditional access policies.
- In addition, competence in the Azure Services, including but not limited to, Key Vaults, Microsoft Entra , Container registries, Monitor, Kubernetes Services.
- Also familiar with Azure AKS and Arc Cloud Backend.
- Knowledge of Azure networking concepts, including virtual networks, VPN gateways, Express Route, and network security groups, to optimize AON connectivity and performance.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues within the AON Azure environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including developers, operations teams, and business stakeholders.
- The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of architecting and managing Azure-based environments, a passion for keeping up with the latest Azure technologies, and the ability to drive continuous improvement within the AON platform.
