The Human Resources Intern will support the Human Resources team across a variety of administrative and project-based responsibilities. This role offers hands‑on experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR operations, and data management. The intern will gain exposure to HR best practices while contributing to an efficient and positive employee experience.

Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Assist with job postings, resume screenings, and scheduling interviews.
  • Communicate with candidates regarding interview logistics.
  • Support onboarding activities, including preparing new‑hire packets and assisting with orientations.
HR Operations & Administration
  • Maintain employee records and assist with data entry into HRIS systems.
  • Help prepare HR documents such as employment letters and organizational charts.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance documentation and personnel files.
Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Support HR team with planning employee events, recognition efforts, and engagement initiatives.
  • Collect and summarize feedback from surveys or focus groups.
Learning & Development
  • Help coordinate training sessions and track employee participation.
  • Update training materials and resources as needed.
Special Projects
  • Participate in HR research, benchmarking, and process improvement projects.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Completed at least one year of college.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Demonstrate awareness and behaviors that reflect The Wahl Way values.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional judgment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HRIS is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
