Description

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Kemah, Texas. In this role, you will oversee HR operations, payroll processing, and employee training initiatives, ensuring compliance and efficiency. This position requires hands-on expertise with Quick Books Online and a strong background in multi-state payroll management.

Responsibilities:

- Manage payroll processing using Quick Books Online, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple states.

- Develop and implement training programs for new hires to support their onboarding process.

- Oversee employee relations and address workplace concerns to maintain a positive work environment.

- Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring timely updates and adherence to regulations.

- Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records and streamline HR operations.

- Coordinate all aspects of onboarding, including documentation and orientation for new team members.

- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies and procedures.

- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws in all HR activities.

- Collaborate with management to align HR strategies with organizational goals.

Requirements

- Proven experience in Human Resources management, including payroll and employee relations.

- Expertise in Quick Books Online, particularly multi-state payroll processing - this is a must have for this role!

- Strong knowledge of HRIS systems and their practical applications.

- Familiarity with onboarding processes and training program development.

- Ability to manage employee benefits programs effectively.

- Solid understanding of federal and state labor laws.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

- Ability to work 100% onsite in Kemah, Texas.
