Location: BrookshireGrundfos America Corporation is seeking an experienced Lead Talent and Leadership Specialist to join its Talent, Leadership and Culture team. The Lead Talent and Leadership Specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing corporate-wide people practices around talent and people development. This position reports directly to the Head of Talent, Leadership and Culture and will be based out of our Houston Headquarters.
Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.
What is the job about?
Consult with business leaders on how to create impactful talent development activities by running annual talent activities and specific talent development programs.Consult and co-create with learning partners, HRBP, people leaders, and subject matter experts on how to utilize our global people practices by bringing best development opportunities for our employees.Collectively responsible for what is produced by the Talent, Leadership and Culture team, as well as the wider People CoE.Act as external trend spotter, lighthouse expert & leader in talent and people practices.Develop global talent management concepts and drive talent activities.Design, drive, implement, and facilitate specific talent development programs.As a lead specialist, you take a leading role in key global talent projects and initiatives, and guide and coach other specialists in the team and the wider CoE.As a team member, you have your individual area of expertise and specialized competencies that you use to bring diverse perspectives to find best solutions.Estimate the tasks and draw tasks from the Product Backlog.Define the way in which the team can select the requests that they wish to work on when creating products.Utilize design thinking in the work.Co-create solutions together with other team members, users, and other stakeholders.What do you need to apply?
Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field of study. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in driving and leading people practices, including talent and organizational development, leadership development, HR, and communications, preferably in a global, large-size, multicultural organizational setting.
Must be able to travel internationally and domestically up to 15% if necessary. Thus candidates should be able to maintain valid identification.
