Trade the Textbook for the Texas Hill Country
Ready to swap your 8:00 AM lecture for a sunrise over the Hill Country? At Horseshoe Bay Resort, we don't just "work"–we create the moments that people post about. We believe that a premier guest experience starts with a world‑class associate experience. We’re deeply committed to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, ensuring every intern has a seat at the table (and a front‑row view of the lake) at our AAA Four Diamond destination.
Wherever you are coming from it's time to level up your resume where the water is blue and the opportunities are endless.
Choose Your Track:No Coffee Runs, Just Real Impact
Don't just shadow‑take the lead. Our program is built for deep immersion, letting you master the "operational heartbeat" of a luxury resort. Pick your lane:
- Rooms Division: Master the "Signature Arrival." You'll own front office operations and become the face of first impressions.
- Food & Beverage Management: Dive into high‑stakes, high‑volume dining—from the precision of elegant banquets to the high energy of our lakeside lounges.
- Spa, Wellness & Retail: Curate the guest journey at Bayside Spa or manage luxury styles at our Retail Tennis Boutique.
- Competitive Pay: Earn while you learn with scheduled performance reviews and merit‑based raises.
- Future Exec Status: Standout interns aren’t just seasonal help; they’re our future leaders. High‑performers can be fast‑tracked into our Manager in Training (MIT) Program for post‑grad leadership roles.
We work hard, but our perks play harder:
- Resort Access: Work on your swing with Golf and Amenity access
, plus deep discounts on dining and retail. - Jet‑Set Benefits: Score exclusive rates at over 100 Crescent Hotels & Resorts and the Preferred Hotels network worldwide.
- Total Support: We make lake life easy with Subsidized Associate Housing
, a dedicated shuttle service, and weekly meal subsidies. - The Fun Stuff: Summer is better at the lake! Enjoy exclusive associate‑only parties and team‑building events all season long.
If you decide to turn your internship into a career, you’ll unlock a full suite of "adulting" benefits:
Comprehensive Health/Dental/Vision
, a 401(k) with employer match
, and plenty of Paid Vacation to help you recharge.
