The bell/valet attendant parks cars, provides directions, manages traffic, assists with luggage, and delivers items to guestrooms. They communicate with guests, provide information on parking and resort amenities, and perform small duties like room deliveries.
General Duties- Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles.
- Assist guests with the hotel check‑in process.
- Assist guests with handling and transporting luggage.
- Clean and maintain the front entrance, valet office, and parking lot.
- Clean and maintain all bell carts.
- Maintain composure in high‑stress situations.
- Exhibit telephone etiquette.
- Maintain awareness of resort amenity schedules and promotions.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor‑vehicle report.
- Pleasant personality.
- Neat appearance and well‑groomed.
- Maintain proper associate uniform standards.
- Wear black, slip‑resistant, closed‑toe and heel running shoes.
- Exceptional communication skills, detail oriented, and ability to learn in a changing environment.
- Multi‑tasking skills.
- Follow all resort rules and policies.
- Occasional lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
- Work in extreme temperatures as needed.
- Run or move quickly to provide prompt service.
- Walk and stand for the majority of the schedule.
- Communicate effectively with the general public.
- Disseminate information accurately.
- Speak, comprehend, read, and write English.
- Wear slip‑resistant, closed‑toe, closed‑heel footwear.
- Interact with co‑workers and have a sense of team.
