Job Summary and Responsibilities
We are offering a $10,000 Sign On Bonus to new hires that meet the eligibility requirements. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will join an established team of RTs who share your passion for delivering highly specialized cardiopulmonary care to patients experiencing breathing issues. You'll be instrumental in providing a range of treatments from breathing techniques and nebulizer treatments to ventilator management, oxygen therapies, and external ventilation support.
- Administer therapy modalities including, but not limited to, Hand held Nebulizer (HHN), HHN via metered dose inhaler (HHN/MDI), Intrapulmonary Percussive Ventilation (IPV), Chest Physical Therapy (CPT), Pentamidine therapy. Medication administration may be included during these therapy modalities.
- Administer medical gas therapy including oxygen and Helium-Oxygen Therapy (HeO2).
- Perform ventilation therapies, including maintenance and management of life support systems including non-invasive and invasive ventilation therapies, as well as transport of ventilator patients to diagnostic procedures.
- Perform physiological monitoring and diagnostic testing including ABG puncture, bronchoscopy assistance, pulmonary function testing, bedside PFTs, metabolic monitoring, apnea monitoring, transcutaneous monitoring, capnography, pulse oximetry and sleep apnea assessment.
- Perform specialized procedures including but not limited to CPR, bronchial lavage, transport, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, artificial and tracheostomy airway care, and body mechanics/ambulation.
- Completion of a Respiratory Care Degree Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care.
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- BLS certification (through an approved AHA program).

Pay Range$23.11 - $34.38 /hour
