Overview
Mental Health Technician — Under close supervision, provides non-professional direct or indirect care for consumers of behavioral health treatment in inpatient, outpatient, or residential settings. This includes participation in de-escalation activities and ensuring that consumers are kept safe. The role models effective problem solving and decision-making, and assists in providing recreational and therapeutic activities, transporting residents to medical appointments, and ensuring scheduled programming is carried out.

Services include groups and programs for adolescents, persons with co-occurring disorders, seniors and older adults, women, men, and criminal justice groups.
Job Type and Salary- Full Time
- MHT I: $29,328.20+/year ($14.10/hour) plus shift differentials and benefits.
- MHT II: $31,799.00/year ($15.29/hour) plus shift differentials and benefits.
- MHT III: $34,517.00+/year ($16.59/hour) plus shift differentials and benefits.

Working Hours:
Hiring for all shifts. - FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt - Inpatient & URC positions available
Shift differentials and additional compensation for working outside normal business hours. Examples include evenings/nights, weekends, and holidays. Mental Health Technicians also receive an extra $1 per hour shift pay, stackable with other differentials.
Minimum Qualifications And Experience- MHT I:
No experience or education required. - MHT II:
One year of experience in behavioral health patient care. - MHT III:
Two years of experience in behavioral health patient care. - Strong commitment to patient well-being and safety.

- Conditional offer requires physical examination; must meet lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push/pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
- Willingness and ability to travel for job-related duties; valid driver’s license.
