Position: Grounds Tech I
Location: Burnet

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Groundskeeping- Restripe all garages and parking lots and special designated areas on CCHMC campus locations. Maintain/ enhance turf areas with proper mowing/ fertilization procedures. Remove snow and ice. Maintain parking lots and sidewalks to ensure clear and safe passages. Maintain garages for cleanliness and removal of all trash and debris. Operate grounds maintenance equipment with proficiency. Assist with pruning of trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals to provide an acceptable level of plant health and aesthetics.

    Participate in obtaining Pesticide Applicators Service License if necessary.

  • Service- Assist with construction and maintenance of annual/ perennial beds. Provide services such as snow removal, grass cutting, pruning, and mulching. Comply with Infection Control policies and procedures.

Assist in the maintenance of all CCHMC grounds in order to provide a safe, clean, and healing environment for patients, families, and employees.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • No directly related experience

  • Participate in obtaining Pesticide Applicators Service License if necessary.

  • Valid driver's license
