Associate Director of Medical Operations

• Provide feedback and coaching to Medical Directors to ensure the highest level of care for clients and patients
• Oversee the development and maintenance of medical policies and standard operating procedures for hospitals
• Participate in monthly meetings with Medical Directors to establish and review operational goals and financial opportunities
• Assist with medically related client complaints to achieve equitable and timely resolutions
• Ensure compliance with controlled drug policies and regulatory requirements

• DVM or VMD degree required
• Minimum of 7 years of clinical practice experience, with at least 2 years in a hospital medical leadership role
• Demonstrated success in driving medical quality, team engagement, and operational outcomes
• Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to travel at least 30% of the time

• Experience overseeing multiple sites or managing other medical leaders
• Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret financial data and implement performance strategies
