Elite Dermatology and Plastic Surgery is looking for an experienced Plastic Surgery PCC Assistant/Medical Assistant. To be successful in this position you must be focused, detailed, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Patient Care & Clinical Support
  • Welcome patients, escort them to exam/procedure rooms, and ensure comfort throughout their visit.
  • Prepare patients for surgical consultations, in-office treatments, and minor procedures.
  • Assist physicians during consultations and in-office procedures.
  • Obtain patient histories, vital signs, allergies, and current medications.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients and medication instructions.
  • Apply and remove dressings, assist with suture removal, and perform wound care per provider instructions.
  • Manage follow-up calls and coordination of care.
  • Ensure exam rooms and procedure rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic safety protocols.
Surgical & Treatment Support
  • Prepare procedure rooms with appropriate instruments, sterile supplies, and medications.
  • Maintain aseptic technique and support sterile fields during procedures.
  • Monitor patients during in-office treatments and assist with recovery as needed.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all treatments and procedures in electronic medical records (EMR).
Administrative Duties
  • Schedule patient appointments, pre-op consultations, and follow-up visits.
  • Handle patient inquiries, phone calls, and post-procedure check-ins.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure timely documentation in the EMR system.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies, surgical instruments, and skincare products.
  • Assist with patient consents and coordination when applicable.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to multitask under busy or stressful situations
  • Medical office experience preferred!
