CT/X‑Ray Technologist – Full Time

We are looking for a skilled CT/X‑Ray Technologist to join our team at Martin County Hospital District, a Critical Access Hospital located in Stanton, Texas. The role supports patient care by providing high‑quality diagnostic imaging and ensuring patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X‑rays and CT scans per physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times.
- Position patients correctly, explain procedures, and answer questions.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment with attention to image quality and radiation safety.
- Verify patient identity and review clinical information for accuracy.
- Use PACS to store and retrieve images.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast agents and respond in emergencies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic imaging.
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT(R) certification required; ARRT(CT) certification preferred.
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT registration).
- CPR certification for Health Care Providers.
- Experience with X‑ray and CT procedures; proficiency in all X‑ray studies.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to cross‑train into CT for PRN positions.
