Position: INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST (OVERSIGHT) with Security Clearance
Location: Fort Bliss

Duties 1:
Conducts review and oversight inspections of all JTF-N Components for compliance in the areas dealing with Defense Coordination, Insider Threat, Sensitive Information, Intelligence Oversight, Counter Trafficking in Persons, Privacy/Civil Liberties matters and HQ Compliance. Incumbent liaises with JTF-N J-Staffs (at the O-6/GS[1]14) level in developing intelligence processes, procedures, safeguards for assigned Defense Intelligence components ensuring compliance with applicable directives. 2:
Responsible for administering JTF-N's Intelligence Oversight Program. Researches standards, tailors inspection plans to each elements mission and requirements, analyzes data, documents results, and develops recommendations to the JTF-N SIO and/or NORAD and USNORTHCOM IOO in all intelligence oversight matters. 3:
Integrates analytic standards into all aspects of intelligence oversight. Serves as the analytical tradecraft advocate and advisor, in conjunction with the ombudsman, ensuring compliance with Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) tradecraft standards. 4:
Reviews classified information, materials, databases, and products. Reviews requests for information (RFI) via unclassified and classified systems. Coordinates and collaborates on intelligence projects with interagency partners, Embassy and Consulate officials, and higher headquarters to ensure IO Compliance. * Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.
* Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest.
* Employee is subject to random Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph (Poly) screenings as a condition of employment. Failure to submit to a CI-Poly will result in debrief from all SAPs and removal from the position.
* Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft in accordance with Joint Travel Regulations in performance of temporary duty (TDY).
* Employee may be required to work and/or be "on call" after normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends or holidays and is subject to short- or no-notice recall to duty during exercises, crises, or contingencies.
* In the performance of assigned duties, employee uses tact, diplomacy, and professionalism to promote effective working relationships with a variety of offices and agencies. Qualifications This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level.

The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. To qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements describes in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. REQUIRED:

Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: comprehensive understanding of military command missions, transnational threats, and the intelligence cycle, including planning, collection, analysis, dissemination, and evaluation. Mastery of intelligence oversight laws, policies, and directives-such as Executive Order 12333, DoDD 5240.01, and related regulations-is essential, along with expertise in intelligence analysis methodologies like link analysis, trend analysis, and database manipulation;

s familiarity with joint operations, the intelligence community, and all-source collection systems, including SIGINT, MASINT, IMINT, and HUMINT, as well as proficiency in handling classified and law enforcement-sensitive data in compliance with DOD and law…
