The Role

Are you looking to deepen your business, auditing, and regulatory expertise while working at the intersection of technology, digital assets, and asset management? Join Fidelity Corporate Audit where you’ll partner with leaders across the firm to evaluate internal controls, influence positive change, and help navigate a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.

As an Audit Senior Analyst supporting Fidelity’s digital assets and asset management businesses, you will deliver independent and objective assurance that helps Fidelity manage risk, meet regulatory expectations, and strengthen operational performance.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Undergraduate degree; multiple fields of study accepted.
  • 3–5 years of internal audit, external audit, compliance, regulatory examination, or risk management experience, preferably in financial services.
  • Strong understanding of SEC, FINRA, CFTC, and NFA regulations related to asset management, trading, custody, and distribution.
  • Experience interpreting regulatory requirements and assessing related control design and operating effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with mutual fund structures (open-end, closed-end, ETFs) and asset management processes.
  • Experience supporting or responding to regulatory exams, audits, or compliance reviews is a plus.
  • Developing knowledge of audit methodologies, tools, and analytical techniques.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including translating complex concepts into clear findings.
  • A hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented work style.
  • Interest in innovative and digital audit approaches, including automation and data analytics.
  • Professional certifications (or interest in obtaining): CIA, CPA, CISA, CAMS, CRCM, CFA, CAIA are a plus.

The Team

The Audit Senior Analyst will execute business and integrated audits focused on Fidelity’s digital assets and asset management businesses. You will collaborate with business and technology partners to evaluate risks, assess controls, and provide insights that strengthen Fidelity’s risk posture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong understanding of complex business functions, regulatory obligations, and supporting technologies.
  • Document and analyze end-to-end processes and identify risks and controls embedded throughout.
  • Apply regulatory knowledge to assess compliance with key rules and industry standards.
  • Perform audit test work, including data analysis, control testing, and documentation of results.
  • Use audit automation and data analytics tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Develop clear, well-supported audit findings that articulate business impacts and risk implications.
  • Draft audit reports and partner with management on effective, sustainable action plans.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with audit peers, business partners, compliance teams, and technology stakeholders.
  • Stay current on regulatory developments, industry trends, and emerging risks in digital assets and asset management.
