Our client in transshipment industry is seeking a Payment Operations Specialist. He/She is responsible for overseeing the processing and management of payment transactions within the organization. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payment systems, monitoring transactions, and implementing best practices to enhance operational performance. The specialist plays a key role in addressing payment-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining compliance with relevant

• Manage and optimize digital and cashless payment processes to enhance efficiency, minimize costs, and prevent revenue loss.
• Oversee daily operational tasks such as transaction reconciliation, settlement updates, and month-end financial closing reports.
• Serve as the company's Compliance Officer regarding license issues with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), ensuring alignment and compliance across departments.
• Monitor and report on the performance of cashless payment systems as part of management reporting.
• Address customer payment concerns, including short payments, disputes, and chargebacks, coordinating with internal teams for effective resolution.
• Lead and guide the cashless payment operations team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital or cashless payment operations, with previous team management and coaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the license application and compliance processes is a plus.
• Proficient in SAP or similar financial management systems.
