Finance Manager; Leadership​/sets accounting

• Plan, direct, and oversee all accounting activities within the department.
• Prepare and present accurate monthly financial reports in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Interpret financial results and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Monitor and enhance the overall financial health and sustainability of the organization.

• Establish and maintain effective internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
• Oversee GST filings and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Manage tax planning throughout the fiscal year to optimize the organization's tax position.
• Liaise with external tax agents on corporate tax filings and related matters.

• Liaise with banks on financing arrangements and treasury functions, including rate negotiations.
• Provide financial information and documentation for annual insurance renewals and ad-hoc tender submissions.

• Manage, supervise, and mentor accounting staff.
• Lead the recruitment and hiring of accounting personnel.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Identify training needs and coordinate training programmes for new and existing staff.

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CA Singapore) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, including supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS, GST regulations, and Singapore tax requirements.
• Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
