Tax Analyst, Global Indirect Tax

Overview

Employer Industry: Cryptocurrency and Financial Technology

• Assist with tax controllership and compliance processes, focusing on indirect tax across multiple jurisdictions
• Provide advisory support in existing and new jurisdictions
• Execute global indirect tax compliance obligations and work with external advisors as necessary
• Prepare indirect tax financial reporting and cash tax forecasts
• Collaborate cross-functionally with different departments to optimize tax efficiency and compliance

• 5+ years of global indirect tax experience, ideally with a mix of experience at a Big 4 accounting firm and in industry
• Significant experience preparing and reviewing indirect tax returns, including VAT/GST returns
• Excellent speaking and communication skills for interacting with business teams
• Outstanding detail-orientation and process-orientation skills
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset

• CA or CPA certification preferred
• Experience with Oracle Netsuite
• Background in the cryptocurrency industry
• Knowledge of India GST
