Location: Anson
Our Company is hiring for full time position candidate as a Soundman. At least 5 days work per week. Basic monthly salary offered is $3,000. Please apply if you are interested in the following job scopes:
Soundman – Job Scopes Pre-Event / Pre-Show Preparation- Set up and test all audio equipment before performances, including:
- Mixing console (digital/analog)
- Microphones (vocal, instrument, wireless)
- DI boxes, monitors, speakers, subwoofers
- Cables, stands, in-ear systems (if applicable)
- Conduct sound checks with singers, musicians, DJs, or performers
- Balance vocals, instruments, and backing tracks according to performance requirements
- Ensure proper gain staging, EQ, compression, and effects setup
- Identify and resolve potential audio issues before the show begins
- Operate the mixing console during live performances
- Maintain clear and balanced sound throughout the show
- Adjust levels, EQ, effects, and monitors in real time based on performance needs
- Monitor for feedback, distortion, dropouts, or technical faults
- Coordinate closely with performers, stage crew, and operations team
- Respond promptly to any audio issues during the show
- Handle all audio equipment with care and professionalism
- Pack down, store, and secure equipment properly after shows
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor technical fixes
- Report damaged, missing, or faulty equipment promptly
- Assist in inventory checks and upkeep of audio gear
- Support different event formats including:
- Live band performances
- Acoustic sets
- DJ sets
- Corporate events
- Weddings & private functions
- Adapt audio setup according to venue size, layout, and event type
- Work within venue noise limits and operational guidelines
- Ensure audio setup aligns with programme flow and running order
- Arrive on time and be fully set up before scheduled soundcheck
- Maintain a calm, professional attitude under live‑show pressure
- Communicate clearly with performers and team members
- Dress appropriately for live events and venue standards
- Be flexible with working hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Assist with basic lighting coordination (if required)
- Support recording or live‑stream audio feeds
- Save and manage console scenes / presets for recurring performers
- Provide technical input for improving sound quality or workflow
