Tesla is seeking a skilled Construction Plumber to join our dynamic Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) project team. • Troubleshoot and maintain a wide range of piping systems, including domestic water, sanitary sewer, compressed air, nitrogen supply, chemical supply and waste, soft water, and argon
• Work with various piping materials such as PVC, CPVC, and copper, and demonstrate knowledge of Pro Press fittings
• Install and maintain pumps, including transfer, sump, and both single and multistage centrifugal pumps
• Use complex plumbing, mechanical, and process piping schematics to plan work scopes, install improvements, and troubleshoot issues
• Consult manuals and interpret piping diagrams, P&IDs, blueprints, and schematics
• Display positive attitudes and practice good work ethics that reflect the mission, philosophy, and goals of the company

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in industrial plumbing
• Knowledge of industrial and process gases and liquids, hot and cold-water services, plumbing systems, and industrial chemical systems
• Proficiency in pipe section installation using couplings, clamps, screws, cement/glue, caulking, soldering, welding, and press-fit connections (Pro Press)
• Ability to produce parts lists and work plans based on drawings or field observations
• Thoroughly evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning
• Strong initiative and the ability to work independently and effectively with others
• Willingness to travel to other projects as needed
