Cyber Security Specialist

Position Outline

Due to the continued growth and expansion of our business, we are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Cyber Security Specialist based in our Port Lavaca, Texas office.

The Cyber Security Specialist will be assigned onsite at client location in Point Comfort, Texas. Fully remote option is available.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Install, configure, and maintain security software and tools
• Monitor and investigate network activity Respond and investigate security breaches
• Provide security awareness training
• Participate in incident response planning and exercises
• Office Suite

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in cybersecurity tasks, such as network security, vulnerability assessments, data protection or anti-virus systems with 250+ users.
• 2 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, including hands-on experience with security tools and incident response preferred.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• High ethical standards, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
