What it takes- High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 345kV, 500kV, 765kV Transmission lines.
- OSHA 30 or other safety training course
- Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite
As a Construction Manager
, you will be responsible for maintaining and promoting a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety and environmental policies, procedures and regulations. You will participate in pre-construction site visits identifying best construction routes with clients, identifying risks, determining the best possible construction methodology and schedules, and supporting estimating activities by providing rates and feedback on manpower, equipment and resources required for large high voltage transmission projects.
You may supervise and assist Superintendents, General Foremen, and Foremen to schedule work, crews, tools and equipment for efficiency and to minimize travel time. Work with PEs/PMs to update schedules.
