As part of our ongoing mission, we are seeking a motivated and dedicated Certified Elementary Teacher (PK - 5th grade) to join our team. Baird ISD participates in the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) and currently has teachers on staff that have qualified at all three designations.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Certified Elementary Teacher (PK
- 5) who is passionate about inspiring young learners. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in elementary education, a commitment to student success, and the ability to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to the needs of PK - 5 students.

* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic and social growth.

* Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs.

* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student achievement.

* Utilize innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance learning outcomes.

* Maintain open and proactive communication with parents regarding student progress and achievements.

Qualifications:

* Valid Texas teaching certification in Elementary Education (PK
- 5).

* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

* Knowledge of elementary curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment methods.

* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience teaching elementary students (PK
- 5).

* Familiarity with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards.

* Professional development in elementary education or related areas.
