Ballinger Independent School District CTE Business Teacher Pool Position Summary

Ballinger ISD is accepting applications for a CTE Business Teacher Pool. The selected candidate will provide high-quality Career and Technical Education instruction in Business and Industry Education. The teacher will support student achievement, industry readiness, and postsecondary success through rigorous instruction, project-based learning, and collaboration with community partners.

• Bachelor's degree preferred; candidates eligible under District of Innovation (DOI) certification provisions are encouraged to apply
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate or ability to obtain certification/DOI approval
• Knowledge of curriculum design and instructional best practices
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to integrate technology into instruction
• Experience with project-based or industry-based learning preferred

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to TEKS and CTE program standards
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs
• Assess student progress using formal and informal measures
• Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning and safety
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and industry partners
• Sponsor or support an approved CTE student organization as assigned
• Maintain accurate records and comply with district, state, and federal requirements
• Serve as a positive role model supporting the mission of Ballinger ISD

• Maintain emotional control under stress
• Frequent standing, walking, and use of instructional technology
• Occasional lifting of instructional materials and equipment
• Regular interaction with students, staff, parents, and community members
