Baird Independent School District (Baird ISD) is dedicated to providing a quality education to students in the Baird community. As part of our ongoing mission, we are seeking a motivated and dedicated Certified Elementary Teacher (PK - 5th grade) to join our team. Baird ISD participates in the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) and currently has teachers on staff that have qualified at all three designations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Certified Elementary Teacher (PK
- 5) who is passionate about inspiring young learners. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in elementary education, a commitment to student success, and the ability to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences.

• Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to the needs of PK - 5 students.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic and social growth.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student achievement.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance learning outcomes.
• Maintain open and proactive communication with parents regarding student progress and achievements.

• Valid Texas teaching certification in Elementary Education (PK
  - 5).
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Knowledge of elementary curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment methods.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.

• Previous experience teaching elementary students (PK
  - 5).
• Familiarity with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards.
• Professional development in elementary education or related areas.
