CLASSROOM TEACHER OR PARAPROFESSIONAL SUBSTITUTE
Job Description
- Follow teacher's lesson plans to keep the students on track
- Able to control a classroom to provide a learning environment
- Most campuses hours start at 7:30 a.m. and end after students have been dismissed around 3:55 p.m.
- Leave detailed notes for the teacher if required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Bachelor's degree or higher will be asked to provide an official copy of your transcript
- Copy of Driver Licence's and social security card will need to be provided to the HR Department for a background check
- Fingerprinting is required at your cost which is around $50. (Once you are hired, your information will be uploaded to TEA so you can schudule to have your fingerprints complete is not already done.)
