Social Studies​/Coach

Location: Roby

Roby CISD is seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven individual to serve as a Social Studies Teacher / Coach for the  school year.

Roby is a small, rural district with a proud tradition of academic and athletic excellence. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about developing student-athletes in the classroom, in competition, and in character.

Position Details:

* Teaching Field:
Social Studies (grade level TBD based on applicant strengths)

* Coaching Responsibilities:
Based on experience and program needs

* 11-month contract with stipend based on assignment

* Possible leadership opportunities available for the right candidate

Qualifications:

* Valid Texas teaching certification or ability to obtain

* Strong classroom management and instructional practices

* Commitment to building positive relationships with students and staff

* Willingness to contribute to multiple areas of the athletic program

* High character, strong work ethic, and team-first mentality
